Development Over Selection

At Calcio we are focused on player development, not just selecting the best players at a specific moment in time. Regardless of your current skill level, if you are motivated and have a desire to play the game, we will train you to compete at a competitive level.

Coaches
.
Our coaches are all experienced soccer players that are professionally trained and licensed through United States Soccer. We maintain a low player to coach ratio to ensure that each player is getting individual attention with a personalized development plan. We will always keep an open line of communication with our players parents and work together to find a development plan that works best for each individual players needs. Progress reports will go out regularly to monitor progress and establish goals. Our coaches will stay with the same team and players throughout their entire development with the program.

Training

At Calcio we take a player centric approach to player development. We are always looking to improve a players understanding of the game. Our training sessions will put players in game like situations where they need to make decisions quickly. Our coaches use a 7 point system when developing their training session to ensure we are maximizing our time on the field. This program is designed to prepare our players to compete at the collegiate level and beyond.

Price

One of our goals at Chicago Calcio is to remove barriers that discourage entry into the game of competitive travel soccer. We feel that one of the biggest problems with US soccer right now is the cost to participate. We work hard to make sure that we are reducing the financial burden placed on the parents in the program. Our registration and club fees cover everything, there are no additional fees other than purchasing a Uniform. Members will not be required to buy any extra equipment (ball bag, warmup suit, pinnies, practice gear, T-Shirts, ect.)
