On Field Training

.

Our coaches always aim to nurture the players understanding of the game. By using a player centric approach, we get players critically thinking about how they can achieve the objectives of that session. We always look to create a repetitive, challenging, game like environment where players need to make decisions quickly. Our 7 Principles to every session allows us to personalize our trainings to the individual player or teams need to make sure everyone is getting the most out of their time on the field.

.

7 Principles For Each Training Sessions

.

Parents

.

Parents will be encouraged to take active part in the growth of their athlete. Our coaches will keep an open line of communication with all parents involved, supplying progress reports on each players development by highlighting areas where the player excels, meets expectations, and/or need improvement.

.

College Development

.

Our programs are designed to prepare our players to play at the collegiate level. In addition to training we will enter tournaments that will increase the level of exposure that our members receive from college recruits.

.

At Home Training

.

At Calcio we believe that the work does not end once you leave the game or practice field. Each week we will have a fun engaging individual activity or contest that the player can do at home in a relatively small space. The length of the activity will vary but typically around 5-10 minutes per day. These activities will build confidence on the ball and technical ability.
